12/7 The footings went in the day before a "blizzard".

Lottie and I went out to see the guys poor concrete for the footings of the house. It was fun to watch the HUGE cement truck and the chute it went through to get down to the forms. The foreman used a remote control to guide the flow of cement while the other guys moved the big pipe around. It actually felt pretty nice out, which was a sure sign of the snow that was to come later that night.

Well, we are still awaiting The City's approval for the building project to begin. Everyone seems to be cramming at the last minute?  I try not to worry, as The Lord has brought us this far... and the whole point is what kind of people are we? It isn't about this house. It is about our hearts.
