Some days are just like this...

Well, poor Lottie is not in her best form today. But, Mom has gotten so much paperwork done! This is more satisfying to me right now than running errands, anyhow. Although, Elizabeth will be disappointed to not get new underwear today (can I say that on a blog?) to replace what Nutmeg has eaten!

The sky seems more cheery today than yesterday, I have my "office" set up at the kitchen table, hot tea, and my favorite podcast playing. I even have a candle lit right by me! Mmmm. I am practicing the art of enjoying a Minnesota winter. Yay! (This mood may not last!)

Our crazy life

Well, most of you know our life is crazy, but we acknowledge that this is our own doing! And, we are so thankful to have opportunity for many wonderful experiences. Our highlight this year is having exchange students! Two big sisters have been added to the list of girls. (Tim doesn't complain!) Li-Chen, sometimes known as "Benny", is from Taiwan. She will be with us the whole school year. Lena, from Germany, has recently moved on to a new host home, as she was to be with us only temporarily. Thankfully, we know the family and hope to stay connected throughout the year!
I will reflect more later on the beautiful dynamic they bring to our lives, but for now, I need to figure out how to post a photo!
